Paul Neagu
London-based sculptor of the 'Hyphen' and the 'Generative Arts Group'.
Neagu emigrated to London in 1970, where he made 'palpable' tactile objects, performances such as 'Cake Man' and the Hyphen — a triangular, seemingly balancing form that became his signature sculpture. He taught at Chelsea and the Slade, influencing British sculptors including Antony Gormley and Anish Kapoor.
